There are rainy days ahead
But it wont last forever
You’ll find happiness instead
Farewell to fair-weather
No one ever made a change
Trying to do things differently
But ending up the same
Your eyes, they lie behind the tears
Doing nothing for me now
I try to think of better days
But cannot figure out how
I ever saw so much in you
With so little left inside
And right before you walked away
I was the only one who tried
The promises mean nothing
The life we made is broken
My heart is bleeding out
From all the lies that were spoken
Farewell to fair weather
There is danger up ahead
I would like to leave you far behind
And find the sun instead
