Shine back on what you revived
Put love back in my life
Make me feel alive
I’m sorry for whatever I did
That made you go
I’m sorry I couldn’t love you strong enough
To make you care
I’m sorry for whatever I did
That made you not want to be here
But I’m most of all I’m sorry for how
You cannot feel how much I love you
How much I miss you
How much I need you
All of this regret
And how much this hurts
In my mind I see us together
Back the way we first were
Before all of the lies
When I was new to your disguise
In my heart I know its wrong
I cannot make you love me
I cannot make you care
I cannot continue trying
In my dreams I see you true
Just the way I want you
Maintaining a feeling of hope
A false hope that is burying my sanity
Bring forth the life I deserve
Bring forth confidence and stamina
Show me its not all black and white
Help me to survive just one more night
Please give me the strength
Whoever can help me to cope
Move past the pain within her memory
And dispose of this false hope
