trapped in a cage
four walls
some bars some rage
built up like a spring
not meaning anything

hatred and hurt
spoils the truth
making it impossible
to escape

sentenced by my peers
whom know not what they do
whom know not all the facts
acting on their rage

pushed by the ones in control
the innocent rot into dust in this hell
crooked fingers point
never knowing what’s the point

but still they find satisfaction
in sentencing the damned
in forcing others to pay for their own sins
as they are too fearful to face them

but down in the gallows of fire
revenge does all but retire
it waits, patiently
to paint these walls red with the accusers blood

and watch the cell flowers then blossom
born rich with the red pain and tears
embedded with the torment and fears
thick with the cruelty they live for

these walls won’t hold innocence

anymore

Back to when the cold winds would blow
There was a mass of land, air and sea
Blinding light filtered down through the trees

A ruler of earth shot down from above it all
He was naked and hairy except for a shall
Sent to control the land, sea and air
Alone with a pre-damaged mind, no emotions to care

Like a jack in the box he destroyed all the land
He polluted the air and soiled the sand
He needed a job and some kind of boss
To make up for this worlds new great loss

The punishment due would be given too soon
He will be sent up to the deoxidized moon
And pay for all the unwarranted destruction
Poked and probed during an alien abduction

Generations grew and generations bloomed

Slowly destroying the mother earth once more
Making the gods regret life once more
One day there will be no more black
And the vile treatment we have given to this planet

Our future, no one to lead us
Who will be the next president?
Man, woman, both corrupted
God created the world, gave us a chance
To screw it up on a royal level

She is very impressionable, maybe some day
Never had a man as a leader
Killing machine-Leader of the pact
Can an immortal carry the weight?
Is there anyone out there, I don’t know

People are turned off by the money spent
Marches for the fighting,
No one knew what it meant
Excellent ideas, not enough funding for fun
You have to go out and raise your dead
I wonder what goes through there heads

32 million to burn in the election
What could you do to make things better
Kids on the street with no place to call home
No one takes notice to there cries
And the government covers it all with lies

Misunderstood as a group, created laws
To keep people away because of the children
They judge everyone the same
Just like every other kid they say
I realize hating is O.K.
If it gets you through the day

Some people are incapable of being civil
They think they can do whatever they want
They do it for everyone, hold the door
Until someone shows you what you deserve

And so it seems that the world is silent

From the flesh im wearing

And i fear im sinking down

Into that place where i do not want to be

Where no one will notice me

All senses are lost

I can no longer trust

That i once thought was love
